  • Who are Country Pursuit?
    • Country Pursuit is part of the Judge's Choice family of brands. With over 30 years of experience, Country Pursuit has become an established and well-respected brand throughout the working dog world. Offering a range of VAT-free, complete dry dog food formulas for all breeds and all life stages of working and active dogs, developed with professional working dog handlers and nutritionists. All formulas are made in the UK and meet the nutritional needs of all dogs that love the great outdoors.

    • Country Pursuit complete Dog Foods are specially formulated to supply all the necessary nutrients required bu active and working dogs at the correct levels and ratios. Country Pursuit is made in the UK.

    2. PRODUCTS & INGREDIENTS

    • What's the difference between all the ranges?
      • PREMIUM: A range of nutritionally balanced kibbles prepared with carefully sourced and selected ingredients available in 3kg and 15kg bags. Hypoallergenic formulas without artificial preservatives or colours, blended with yucca extract for strong bones, supple joints and lean muscles. Naturally preserved using Vitamin E, and balanced with prebiotics and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to protect digestive health. The Premium range has an optimally balanced calcium and phosphorus ratio with 100% nutritionally balanced carbohydrates, oils and fats.
      • MUESLI: A soya-free, soft muesli range formulated for all breeds of adult and senior dogs but specifically for dogs who find kibble challenging to chew or who are classed as ‘fussy eaters’. Made with real meat chunks and moist flaked cereals creating an easily digestible, nutritionally-balanced muesli, tasty to the palate. Available in 3kg and 15kg bags.
      • ORIGINALS: The first kibble range to be created by Country Pursuit, the Originals range remains extremely popular with working and active, adult and senior dogs. Formulated without artificial preservatives or colours with an injection of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and additional minerals and vitamins to promote balanced digestive systems, strong bones, healthy skin and shiny coats. All products in this range can be interchanged depending on whether your dog is working or enjoying periods of rest. Available in 15kg bags.
      • PRIMARY: A fuss-free, complete kibble dog food range made from carefully sourced and selected ingredients without artificial preservatives, soya or added dairy. This range of recipes has been formulated based on the protein requirements of working and active adult and senior dogs throughout the calendar year. Available in 15kg bags.
      • MIXER: Natural & hypoallergenic puffed rice mixer made without artificial colours or preservatives. Provides additional fibre and low-calorie top up to any complete dog food. Also suitable for all BARF, raw and home-cooked diets. Available in 5kg & 1kg bags in fully recyclable packaging.
      • CAT: The Country Pursuit offering for cats is a complete, dry biscuit made from 3 protein sources blended with essential vitamins and minerals providing a nutritionally balanced recipe. Free from artificial preservatives and without added dairy. Available in 10kg and 3kg bags.
    • Why do you use vitamin E to preserve some of your ranges?
      • We use vitamin E for as a natural preservative rather than an artificial one that would be detrimental to our dog food formulation. 
    • What are omega 3 and 6 fatty acids?
      • These are found in all balanced and optimal diets and are called essential fatty acids. They have a number of health benefits which include aiding in healthy cell renewal and maintaining optimum brain and nerve function. 
    • Why do you use glucosamine and chondroitin?
      • For the same reasons humans take it! Glucosamine and chondroitin are natural anti-inflammatories and aid in joint mobility. 
      • What size are your products available in?
        • The Premium and Muesli ranges come in 15kg and 3kg pack sizes. The Originals and Primary ranges are available in 15kg bags. The Mixer range is available in 5kg and 1 kg pack sizes and the Cat range is available in 10kg and 5kg bags.
        • What is the shelf life of your products?
          • Our products have a shelf life of between 9 and 12 months depending on which range you choose.

        3. FEEDING

        • What are the benefits of feeding Country Pursuit?
          • Country Pursuit has a number of ranges that meet different requirements of your active and working dog. All our recipes are made with fully traceable ingredients and everything is made here in the UK to the highest manufacturing standards with the exception of Puffed Rice Mixer.
        • Which Country Pursuit product is best for my dog?
          • Within the Premium, Muesli, Originals and Primary ranges, there's a Country Pursuit product that will suit the unique requirements of your dog. If you are moving from a different dry food and your dog does not have a sensitive stomach, then the Originals or Primary ranges would be suitable. For dogs that have slightly more sensitive stomachs and are used to dry formulas, the Country Pursuit Premium range coupled would be a perfect food. For those dogs that are used to raw feeding, home-cooked meals or BARF diets or have tried everything but still suffer from digestive problems, our Puffed Rice Mixer is a great complementary filler. For dogs that are fussy eaters or find kibble difficult to chew, Muesli is the right choice for your dog.           • How much should I feed my dog?
            • Feeding guidelines differ for each range and each product within that range. All feeding guidelines are clearly marked on the product packaging, or on the product pages on the Country Pursuit website, or you can scan the QR code on the product packaging which will take you straight to information page of the product you have bought.
          • Do I need to supplement my dog's diet with other food?
            • Unless you are using the Puffed Rice Mixer, the answer is 'no'! All Country Pursuit products, with the exception of the Puffed Rice Mixer, are complete formulations which supply all the essential nutrients for your dog's health and vitality and do not require any supplementation with other food. 
            • Should I add water to the dry kibble?
              • It's totally up to you! If your dog finds things hard to chew then moistening the ranges with a little tepid water will make it a little easier for your dog. However you choose to feed, always make clean water available for your dog.
            • How many times a day should I feed my dog?
              • The daily feeding amount may be spread over as many feeds as you and your dog want. As a general rule however, we recommend two daily feeds, one in the morning and one in the evening. It's a little different for puppies so please study the relevant feeding guidelines of the specific Country Pursuit puppy food you are feeding. These can be found on the website.

            4. PLACING AN ORDER

            • How do I make a purchase?
              • Use the menu bar at the top of the page to navigate to the product you are looking for. Use the plus or minus button to choose your desired quantity and then simply click on the 'Add to cart' button. The product will be placed into your shopping bag which can be located at the top right hand corner of the web page. Once you have finished shopping, simply click on the shopping bag and follow the on-screen prompts. Alternatively, you can press the 'Buy with Paypal' button on the product screen which will take you directly to your Paypal account to follow the on-screen prompts. 
            • How do I know my transaction has been successful?
              • Shortly after completing your transaction, you will receive an email to confirm your order is being processed. If you fail to receive this email, please contact us either by email at info@countrypursuit.co.uk or call us on 0330 124 8232.
            • How do I qualify for free delivery?
              • If you have spent £30 or more in a single transaction then you will automatically qualify for free delivery.
            • How long will I have to wait for my order?
              • Orders placed before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day should be with you within 3 working days.
            • What is Subscribe & Save?
              • This is a service we offer where you choose to receive a delivery from Country Pursuit at regular intervals for example, every month, every 6 weeks, every 8 weeks etc, and we automatically send you your dog food. This is called a subscription. You can amend your subscription at any time by logging into your personal account. By subscribing you will receive a 5% discount off the full price of your dog food. You will also qualify for free delivery on recurring orders after your first order. For more information take a look at our Subscription Service page.
            • How do I redeem discount codes?
              • Discount codes can be redeemed on the Information page after you have started the checkout process by clicking on the shopping bag. 
            • Can I specify a delivery address that is different to my billing address?
              • Absolutely. Just complete the shipping address information with the location you would like it sent to.
            • How do I know where my order is?
              • You will receive an email to let you know that your order has been dispatched and then you will receive email and text updates directly from DPD (our carrier) giving you specific dates, an hour slot and the name of the person that will be delivering your order to you. Please note, this information comes directly to you from DPD. If you would like to amend your delivery date or time, please click on the email or text message link that DPD provides you directly.
            • Which payment methods do you accept?
              • You can pay using PayPal or using all major credit cards.
            • Why is my payment failing?
              • The most common reason for this is that credit card details have been inputed incorrectly or the billing address doesn't match the one on the card you are using to pay. The smallest of spelling errors will cause the transaction to fail. It's extremely annoying but please remember that it's your banks way of ensuring that your card is not being used fraudulently.

            5. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

            • What is a customer account?
              • By signing up for a customer account, you can store delivery and order information, and speed up the checkout process.
            • How do I create a customer account?
              • To create an account, click on the person icon in the top right hand corner of the home page and follow the on-screen prompts.
            • What information is stored on my account?
              • Contact details and order history are securely stored in your customer account. We do not store payment information.
            • How do I update my delivery and invoicing details?
              • Just log in to your account by clicking the person icon at the top right of the home page. Once you are signed in, you can update your account and address information by choosing the relevant option.
            • Can I order without an account?
              • Yes. If you prefer not to create an online account, you can still order as a guest. Once you have selected the products you wish to purchase and have proceeded to checkout, simply follow the on-screen prompts.
            • What do I do if I forget my login password?
              • No need to panic. Just click on the person icon in the top right cornet of the home page, type in your email address and click 'Forgot your password'. Follow the on-screen prompts to reset.
            • Why haven't I received a password reset email?
              • Reset emails will only be sent to the email address that you used to create your Nature's Harvest account. If there is no account linked to the email address you have inputed then no email will be sent.

            6. DELIVERY

            • How much is delivery?
              • If your order is over £30 then delivery is free to UK Mainland (excluding islands and Northern Ireland). We charge a flat rate of £4.99 for any order below £30 (excluding islands and Northern Ireland).
            • How long will it take to receive my order?
              • Orders received before 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery.
            • Can I track my delivery?
              • Yes. We will send you an email once your order has been dispatched with tracking information. You will also receive an email from our carrier DPD, with more tracking information.
            • What should I do if I have not received my order within 3 working days?
              • In the unlikely event that your order has not arrived within 3 working days, please contact us either by email at info@countrypursuit.co.uk or call us on 0330 124 8232.
              • Do I have to sign for my order?
                • No. Our courier will leave your order in a secure location if there is no answer, or deliver to a neighbour if you prefer. You can stipulate this directly to our carrier DPD, by using the email or text link that they send you.
                • How will my order be delivered?
                  • We use DPD for all our deliveries. They aim to deliver between 0800 and 1900 Monday to Friday but will send you an hour slot either by email or text message so that you know when they are arriving.
                • How will my order be packed?
                  • Your order will normally arrive in a brown cardboard box.
                • What do I do if my order is damaged?
                  • In the unlikely event that your order has been damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please take photos of your order, the damages to your order and the production codes of the order. Please email these to info@countrypursuit.co.uk or call us on 0330 124 8232.
                • Do you deliver outside of the UK?
                  • Due to Brexit, deliveries to locations outside of the UK have become more difficult. Before placing your order, please contact us either by email at info@countrypursuit.co.uk or call us on 0330 124 8232.
