Simple to portion and ready to stir in, Puffed Rice Mixer is a useful cupboard staple for owners who like some flexibility at mealtimes. Its light texture mixes easily with wet food and adds variety without the need to cook rice.
Made without wheat or gluten, with 7.5% protein and 2.7% fat. Rice is a grain, so this mixer is not grain free. It still supplies calories, even though it feels light in the bowl.

Storage & handling
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal securely or keep in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Wash hands after handling and keep feeding bowls clean.
Feeding & switching guide
This is a complementary mixer. Feed alongside an appropriate main food as part of a balanced diet. It does not provide a complete meal on its own, and adding it to meat does not automatically make that meal nutritionally balanced.
Introduce a small amount gradually over 7–10 days. Weigh the mixer and account for its calories when adjusting the rest of the meal. The right quantity depends on your dog’s main food, age, activity and condition; follow the main food’s mixed-feeding guidance where available.
Mix into wet food or use as a small addition to their usual bowl. Keep fresh drinking water available.
This 175g sample is a taste trial. It may not be enough for a full gradual introduction or to judge longer-term suitability.

Our 11 year old dog developed pancreatic issues. We were cooking rice for her every day to mix with pure meat to keep her poo solid. We switched to this as a trial and it works. So much easier than cooking rice every day!

Ever since the first time I bought these ‘rice crispies’ my doods have loved having them mixed with their food. These help to keep the weight gain at bay without my two greedy piggies thinking I’m starving them. They are very happy with their meals and maintaining a healthy weight.

Easy to mix with other dig food my 4 border collies love it

My dogs love the puffed rice. The only downside to this order is the huge box and excessive packing that it arrives in. Surely the bag alone would suffice as it seems to be coming via Amazon now.

I have been having difficulty sorting my dogs digestion so thought i would give this a try - it was sorted be the next day! It is also great if your dog needs to loose weight, or is a hungry hound as it bulks out their food - the bag is massive, so will last ages. Daisy likes it with her meat and a little warm water to create a moist gravy - the rice still keeps its form. Will definitely keep using!
